Our Unrefined Shea Butter is a creamy "raw" shea butter that is hand crafted by traditional methods.  This unrefined shea butter is is not processed by hexane or any other chemical extraction methods and is delivered to you in its purest 100% natural state.  This smooth firm butter comes from the Tamale region of northern Ghana. The soil of this area grows karite (shea) trees that produce a naturally lighter colored unrefined raw shea butter which is pale beige to off white and is called Ivory Shea Butter. 

Unrefined shea butter is an amazing beauty oil in its purest most natural state with all of its healing and restorative vitamins and nutrients intact.  A rich source of vitamins A, E and F and essential fatty acids, unrefined shea butter deeply moisturizes skin for soft, smooth texture and increased elasticity.  Its also a superb pre-shampoo deep conditioning treatment for hair, restoring hair moisture, manageability and glossy shine.
