Note: Refined shea butter cannot be substituted for unrefined shea butter for this natural hair care treatment.  The conditioning and restorative vitamins and nutrients of unrefined shea butter are stripped away during the refinement process which prevents the achievement of the same quality hair conditioning results. 

How to Apply an Unrefined Shea Butter Hair Treatment:

You will need:
- Unrefined shea butter
- Shampoo and conditioner

Step 1: Shampoo and condition hair, towel dry.
Step 2: Melt 1/2 teaspoon unrefined shea butter between palms.
Step 3: Apply melted shea butter to damp hair. Massage into hair from roots to tips. 
Step 4: Dry hair (blow dry, sit under dryer, or allow hair to air dry). 
Step 5: Style as desired.

After styling, hair will feel incredibly soft, with beautiful shine and manageability.  You will probably notice your hair looks as great as it does after you have been to the salon!
